EEEEK is right! I don't like to go into the garage because that's where the spiders live. Puts my stomach in knots just thinking about it
I get shaky when I remember it! I'm glad my husband took care of the problem. Otherwise, I couldn't garden at all this year. :D
EwwwDid you name them? Or feed them to Snuffy?
The MouseSlayer took care of them, and I told him I didn't want to know what he did with them. :D
Okay, when I read your post Saturday, I did not quite envision this! I thought you found an empty nest! I'd be freaked too and I do not freak very often. Makes my finding a mouse in my garage pale :)
I only wish it had been empty, Kim! It was...warm...and wiggly...and ALIVE. ARGH!
Several years ago our cat chased a mouse into our bedroom in the middle of the night and the mouse was squeaking! GROSS!!!
Okay, that's nasty! I'd freak out!
I can imagine even the thought of touching them is still making you shudder. Mice don't really bother me, except for the dirty, germy grossness of what they leave behind, but spiders...? I need my dragonslayer for even the smallest! I don't like bats much either, although they don't exactly freak me out.But I still remember the night in my parents' cabin when I could hear one flying across the room. With head under the sheet I made DH get up, light the propane lamp and get rid of the bat that had come down the chimney and settled on the curtains. (He managed to chase it with a broom out the side door onto a screened porch, then slam the door. In the light of morning he removed it from the porch as well.) What would we do without our brave protectors?
Bats and spiders are right at the top of my list of things that freak me out. I can't imagine hearing a bat at night in the house! EEEK!! I've been calling my husband MouseSlayer this week. :D
