It's also hot in central Minnesota! We went to the lake to beat the heat (I posted a quick vlog about it today). I'm just happy that the humidity is down.I love drinking ice tea on a hot day.
Have you read that book "Too Hot, Went To the Lake"? It sums up MN in the summer perfectly!
Yes, by Peg Meier! She came to the Lindbergh House where I worked for ten years to do some research and I had a chance to meet her. Great book!
It's super hot down here in the Memphis region. I choose lemonade. Real lemonade preferably, but Crystal Light will do! And Pellegrino!
Memphis...my hair would OWN me in the humidity of Memphis. :)
ice water and really cold, fresh vegetables (like peppers and cucumbers) dipped into ranch! Yum!
I got a camelback water bottle from my daughter for my birthday and I keep it full all the time! And now I want some ice cold cukes and ranch...
Ice water! Yes, it's been hot here, around 100 each day, which is really hot for us, especially by the foothills at over 5,000 feet. I will be praying for all the places you mentioned!
At that elevation, I doubt I could drink enough water! Where I'm from in Kansas any pile of dirt taller than 10 ft was called a foothill. :)
Love the hot weather. It just doesn't seem to last as long as cold winters. I like ice tea and popsicles to keep cool.
Popsicles! Why didn't I think of that. I like cherry best!
I like drinking ice water and my new favorite drink called a June bug. It has ginger ale, grenadine and orange sherbet. Between uber hot and uber cold, I would go with cold every time. I also eat a lot of slushies.
Now I want orange sherbet. And a slushy! :)
I don't like HOT...and it has been over 100 here in Texas for the past week. Bleh.I prefer a cold glass of sweet ice tea when it is super hot. It just glides down and soothes my parched throat!
Didn't you all have about six months of 100 + temps last year? You deserve some cool weather! And rain!I love tea, but not sweet tea. But lots of ice, and a wedge of lemon and I'm there! :)
We had like 60+ days straight of 100+ heat. I'm telling you, it is a killer...literally. We were on water restrictions and our grass died. Brown everywhere!
It is so hot in Oklahoma right now. It's not my favorite, but I prefer hot over cold. We tend to eat a lot more fruit and salad when it's this hot.
Ice cold watermelon is so good on a hot day, isn't it?
